My doctor just scheduled me every two weeks, and I'm 27 weeks. And she does heartbeat every appointment.

I get a heart beat at every appointment with the Doppler but not a sonogram

that stinks, it upsets me when women don't get the care they need/want through pregnancy.

A lot of doctors wont do a ultrasound at every appt unless you're high risk. I have to ask for thr number of my babies heart beat too but we hear it at every appointment.

@brittanylove, i did that too and was told no and ask for numbers but they dont give them to me..

my doctor has always started biweekly appts at 32 weeks, but I hear 28 is common too. and he always did fetal heartbeat and told me what it was and let me listen to it for a long time and let my other kids react to it.

I'm 29 weeks and starting at 30 weeks I'll be seeing her every two weeks. I get to hear the heart beat every time but I have to ask for actually numbers and ask for my measurements. If I don't ask she doesn't bother telling me! 😕 I only got first visit ultrasound and then 20 weeks. I asked about another and even offered to pay and was told no! 😤

thank you ladies! im just concern bc most of my pregnant contacts have had a great experience and get ultrasounds each visit get to know the actual heartbeat. Me on the other hand dr will not even tell me the heartbeat just lets me hear it and scheduled me for a month when il already on the 3rd trimester. feeling concerned..

@rosy18, my doctor started it at 28 weeks but every doctor is different some don't start until 30/32. And I hear baby's heartbeat every appt

and yes heartbeat is heard at every appointment

28 weeks at my drs office I see them every 2 weeks now :)

I'm seeing mine every 3 weeks still and I do hear the heartbeat at every appointment I see mine again next week and I'm going to be 31 weeks
