in L&D ive been having contractions every 2-4 minutes. ive been monitored for 5 hours now but i havent progressed so they took me off and are just keeping me here.

i had the steroid shot to help babys lungs and they said he's basically ready for delivery. its just a matter of my body progressing. they tried to stop it and it didnt work. how can i move this along? im so uncomfortable.
