omfg! im sick and tired of people telling me to let my daughter "just cry it out" shes 9 days old!! if she's crying she needs something. the cry it out method may work for other parents but i will not use it. definitely not at 9 days old!

I think people tend to forget newborns are cuddled and feel safe in the womb, and then suddenly get throwing into a different environment with loud noises and bright lights, why in the world would anyone let their newborn cry it out. I hate when people say that.

That's crazy. I wouldn't let my son cry it out even at 3 months. They don't self soothe til later on.

no way should you let a newborn cry it out .Thts so sad 😑 your doing the right thng! now when baby gets older I would let baby cry it out. my son's six months and that's what I gotta do every night.
