Is it possible to have a regular period early on in pregnancy??? I've been having pregnancy symptoms but I just finished said period but I was having symptoms before. Should I test?

My mother had full periods until she was 6 months pregnant with me. She found out she had two uterus' though!

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Oh I don't have two uterus' ha but that's trippy.
