so if I'm not dilated by Tuesday the nurse says they are gonna insert something shaped like a tampon that's gonna help me dilate basically they are gonna take my baby Tuesday has anyone had this done not sure what it's called.

I had a folley. I don't know if that's the same thing but it was definitely uncomfortable getting it put in.

cervix ripening pill! they gave that to me the night I was getting induced. not gonna lie it freaking sucked and it hurt getting put in. mine even slid out so they had to do it all over again. but 4 hours later my water broke and got my epidural 45 minutes later. that thing worked like crazy.

At the hospital got admitted earlier 5/6 cm dilated. Gonna have a baby here soon❤
3 cm dilated gonna have me walk around for a few hours to see if i progress or loose more fluid then go from there. If i don't dilate more I'll be going home.

That sounds like a foley ball. My beautician had one. She said its wasn't bad and they come in every hour to tug at it to see if you dilated. Once it falls out I believe you're supposed to be at 8 cm.
