UPDATE/RANT ABOUT MY STUPID LOCAL HOSPITAL AND DOCTORS:

I hate Laporte hospital! I started getting contractions at 7 pm last night, knowing I was told not to come in until they were 10 or less minutes apart I waited it out as long as I could. I got there at 2:30 AM and my contractions were 7 minutes apart. The nursing staff on the L&D floor got shitty with me because apparently I'm not supposed to come in unless they're less than 5 minutes apart (NOT what my doctor told me!!). Anyways, they put me on the monitor and my contractions were down to 3 minutes apart and pretty strong. But I wasn't dilated, my cervix was thinned but closed. So they sent me home to be miserable and told me to come back when I can't tolerate the contractions anymore. I came back, took a hot bath, and I've been using my birthing ball to try to speed up the process. The contractions got even stronger and are still consistently 3 minutes apart so I called my midwife to ask her when I should go back since I keep getting different answers. She told me to go back if they're still less than 3 minutes apart but all they can do for me is put me on an IV for fluids and try to stop my contractions!! I DONT NEED OR WANT TO STOP CONTRACTIONS, IF MY BABY AND BODY ARE READY THEN SO BE IT. JUST DELIVER HER 👿
