@angie87 No, it doesn't. Mine lasted longer that it should've done because I kept telling her to stop because the pain was too much. I was 39+1 and my waters had broken the previous day in the early hours of the morning. To reduce the risk of infection I had to be induced at 7am if I hadn't gone into labour myself. I had thr sweep around 1am.. :) I was already 1cm and contracting. After the sweep...I went to 8cms within an hour :) I no longer needed to be induced Xx
