I asked earlier but got no responses so figured ill try again...who had to have a cerclage removed? was it painful? and did anyone go into labor before it was removed??

You're welcome! And thank you!! I was so freaked out I kept sliding up on the table because I was so scared but once I finally relaxed it only took about a minute or two and I was done. :) @1sttimemom2be

Hey girl, I don't know if you still need any of this info or not, but I thought I'd still let you know in case. I had my cerclage removed today. I'm 35 weeks and 5 days. I had to have it removed because it was ripping. I thought it was quit painful.. I think it was because my doctor had to keep switching the spectrum thing to find the right says so I'd stay open for her to take it out. There was a lot of pressure and blood. I'm not trying to freak you out!! But it looked like a period. I had it removed about 10 this morning and I'm a little sore from it. Plus my cervix was towards my back more than most people. I'm now dilated to a 1cm and my cervix are super then. But good luck!!! :) @1sttimemom2be
