so I'm 34 weeks today and at my growth ultrasound baby weighed in at 6lbs 4oz (which is really big) and I'm measuring almost 37 weeks. for the past two days I've been having horrible pressure in my pelvic area like my pelvic bone is holding everything in and I can barely walk or put my pants on standing up! my ob said it's normal but it's not supposed to happen until much later and he said it's scaring him to where he thinks I'll deliver in 2 or 3 weeks. he said if I don't go into labor on my own in the next 2 or 3 weeks he will try some induction tricks since he can't legally induce me until 39 weeks. has anyone else had a similar situation? sorry for the long read...

I'm in the same boat. Dr even thought I'd go before this but it's not happening even with reg contractions. I'm being induced friday night now
@arivera64, he said I don't have anything like that. it just started 2 days ago. My Baby's head is down so I know it's got to be his head in my pelvic bone. just curious to see if anyone else is in the same boat.

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
