Well got some really frustrating news.
I got denied emergency Medicaid because I already filed an application, I thought you could get it while you were waiting for your Medicaid to come in but that's not the case. So fine, okay.
Then I was told I have to wait until May 22nd for my application to be "processed" even though I know it didn't take but maybe two weeks last year. It's so overwhelming 😩
I just want to make sure baby V is growing strong and healthy but noooooooooo, stupid insurance takes forever. 🙄😒😡
Looks like I'll be around 14weeks pregnant when I get my first prenatal appointment 😐 well, technically I'd probably be further simply because never know when I'd get an available appointment after that 😑
Oh joy!🙃

Really? I didn't know that was an option 😳☹️@nicole021995

Yeah last year I did it online and got approved of really fast & there's an option to send in a pregnancy confirmation letter so that you can prove you're pregnant. I went to early clinics to get a free pregnancy test done so they gave me a Medicaid confirmation paper for proof of pregnancy :)@carsonsmomma

I applied and got it that same day I have the number where you do the interview through the the phone and it takes a couple of minutes

Oh yeah if you apply online how I did it and my sister has done it like a week or less! You might even be able to submit a separate online application and see if that one gets processed faster I also never had to upload a pregnancy conformation so I'm kinda confused on that

Maybe they don't like me 🤔😟 I think it's because my mom did it for me when she went in person to apply for women's insurance 🤔@carsonsmomma

@canaryv, good! Oh they have an app. That's how I found out I had been accepted so fast. And was able to use it for my doctors appt because it has your member number on the app and everything!

Medicaid is on something this year 🙄😡@chantebrandon & funny thing is, last year I forgot to upload my pregnancy confirmation letter and got approved by two weeks in. This time I showed them my letter and it's taking longer 😟😂@candacelouise

@canaryv, oh man & you're even in texas like me! Did you attach or take in a letter stating you were pregnant from your doctor? I did and maybe that's why I got accepted so fast!
Chante·
I went in and got mines the same day, that's crazy smh and waited for the card to come in the mail.

I've been calling around any most places won't accept you unless you have insurance in place 😩 that or pay 1,000 bucks upfront for your first appointment 😱 lol @izamarpink

@canaryv, you never know! My Medicaid took I think 5 business days from the time I filled everything out to when I had a card to me in the mail! And they said could take up to 30 days.

Just go and have Medicaid pay later for your medical bills. I would girl Medicaid has been slacking this year !

If you bring in a letter to an ob office saying you applied most will take you and then just submit the paper work after you get the insurance card 😊 at least that is how it is by me
