as long as you have HCG in your blood you will test positive on a test. And women can not have a real "period" while pregnant they can have frequent bleeding but it isn't a period because a period is the shedding of your uterine lining. You can't shed your uterine line while pregnant because you would lose the baby.

It wouldn't be an actual period so the test would still come back positive, in my case I would still get spotting the first 4 months at the same time I would normally get my period but I found out I was pregnant because I randomly decided to test and found out I was already 10wks

go to the Dr. and get a blood test. my sister didn't know till she was 5 months, she found out through a blood test
