question when you were checked for dilation how long did you 'spot or bleed' afterwards ??

I've been getting checked since 22w

I was never checked for dilation. I delivered at 39 weeks 3 days by emergency c-section. I was induced and they checked me when i got to the hospital but my actual ob never checked me.

Yes. It's normal. I would spot about 2 days.

I never got any bleeding, but my midwife said it's normal to after getting checked. but that was when I was 37 weeks.

@motheroftwojk, I wouldn't know lol I was being induced and was in the bed the whole time. I heard it's very common though to have light spotting. They checked it in the ER a few times and the nurses told me to expect some light cramping and spotting.

@mjsaunders, @mammaa , I never had any bleeding with dilation checks until the other day but for some reason I believe its not from the check , iv been losing my plug because im 3 1/2cm && I honestly think its from that

The more you dilate, the more you'll bleed when they check you. @motheroftwojk

I spotted after my first dilation check depending on color my doctor said it was normal. If it is bright red or so it's a cause for concern but brownish is typical
