Yes that's definitely it! I think it's just old blood but I would mention it to your doctor in case of infection I think infection would be green though. I see a little red in there too

Is it a lot? I won't be grossed out by the pic if you post it.. It grows back but if there is blood I believe including old blood which is brown thn it most likely won't be growing back
