Why are people getting induced before 40 weeks just wondering? I know if there is a medical reason you get it done but I've seen a lot and had no idea about that...? Just curious. I know certain instances where the baby has the cord wrapped or if the baby went past 40 complications can occur etc...
some..due to blood pressure..shortening of cervix.. low amniotic fluid..baby not growing..ect
I also know if you have group b strep and your water breaks they need to immediately induce.
I've had 2 boys so far and had some instances where it would be nessisary to induce yet they never mentioned it. I'm pregnant with #3 I'll always opt out unless medically nessisary. I have just seen so many moms say they wanna be induced or are trying to ask if they can be. It just confused me.
