#MySO ours is a sort of, controversial story.... he was married in a bad relationship for many years, I was still finishing high school and living with my parents. we do have a decent sized age gap... he had been friends with my brothers since they were kids, so I knew who he was. one day I was at his house with my brother and another guy that I was looking to hook up with, when my now SO said we should all go fishing. I LOVE fishing! we got to talking and it turns out that wasn't the only thing we had in common. I got him drunk and seduced him when everyone left. people had there suspicion at first, but after awhile, no one was thinking any more of it. 2 days later, when suspicion of him and I being intimate died down, I called him because I had to return his jacket that I wore cause it was chilly (and I needed to know if things were going to be awkward, I mean, I did stuff with my brother's best friend and coworker!!). I snuck over a few streets and he picked me up in his truck, before I could say anything, he kissed me and said "the other night was done all wrong, we have so much in common, I need to take you on a real date"... I had nothing better to do (I didn't believe in relationships AT ALL at the time, just fun. plus, he was still married anyways). he took me to lunch at a cool spot made into a diner from a train cabpoose. we stopped at a junk yard so he could get new tires, and while walking the yard, he went into ONE car and pulled out a little ring. we finished the date with a movie, Savages....

after this, we stayed a secret to everyone and snuck around for a whole YEAR before confessing our love to everyone and moving into an apartment together. we've been together since and will be marrying next year(:
