I'm 17 weeks today with baby #2, I had my daughter at 37 weeks(barely), membrane ruptured at 36 and 5. My doctor told me I qualified for progesterone shots once a week. I don't know how I feel about it. Would anyone in my shoes go forward with the shots?

I get them. My youngest was born at 36 weeks and 3 days. Now I'm having a boy and I heard boys lung mature slower so I'm glad I did start getting them. At 32 weeks I was dilated 2cm and 80% effaced so I had to get 2 shots of celestone too. It's all up to you in the end but since I had a preterm labor before I wanted to make sure if I have another one babys lungs will be developed.
