Baby girl won't breastfeed. I had been giving her bottles this weekend because of the medicine I took which I didn't want to pass on to her. Now she refuses to latch on and fusses. How do I get her back to breastfeeding?

keep trying. maybe try a nipple sheld. .. talking to a lactation consultant would be helpful

@suddymaya, I think that's what it is. I used the nipple shield and she breastfed for an hour! I was sick the whole weekend so daddy and family fed her.

look for preemie nipple in the same brand as bottles you're using. they have them at Wal-Mart and Target

also I would avoid the bottle for 4-6 weeks if possible too-this will help your situation as well! PM if you have additional questions :)
