Should I feel some type of way that my BF parents never call me personally to see how the baby and I are doing??? BTW I made sure I tried to make them as involved as possible through out my pregnancy. By having the reveal party at their house. Giving them sonogram pics to keep. I even bought them a grand parents onsie for the announcement Ect... I've also made a couple phone calls them before. When I visit they are really happy and nice ppl they seem excited and all. But they NEVER not once called me to see how baby and I are doing! Yes maybe they asked their son but he is not carrying a child I doubt he knows much of shit unless I tell him.
Ladies please let me know am I wrong or hormonal for thinking this way???😒

they may not feel comfortable or they think asking him is enough I wouldn't let it get to me

Don't let it get to you, his parents never called me or anything.. I personally would think it's odd. Lol. They would ask if seeing me in person.. But never check ups..

I wouldn't be concerned, my mil doesn't call either, just asks my SO and if she sees me she'll ask me

@lovemiithree, it's hard for me to understand them not being comfortable. Since before I was pregnant his mom and I talk a lot when I visit them still do they seem to adore me. When we are in person. I just don't get why they wouldn't have the decency to call and check on their grandchild and I.

@lovinggunnar, @bianca_rose ok maybe I'm just being emotional. What are they going to do when baby gets here say she's sick he works and goes to school full time I mean they wouldn't call me to see how she's doing? I hope that's not the case😞

For our situation I didn't hear from them very often, and if I did it was through him.. I herd from them through social media.. But nothing really more. They don't really visit either unless we go there, not really a close family I guess..

@lovinggunnar, yea see I never expect that from his family they seem to be thrilled and first time grandparents. They openly communicate with me but never called to check it's the only thing they don't do. I find it odd

No not all I'm going through the same thing. My bf sends his mom pics of my belly without me knowing she constantly asked him how I'm doing and not me. She would call me in the beginning now she doesn't. And had the nerve to say to me I can keep her posted like I use to in the beginning, no u can call and text me and act like u care like in the beginning 😒

@kbabyondway, exactly my point it's common courtesy I would think someone as old school as his parents would understand that. You are right I did nothing but open doors for them. He mom told me last 2month ago when I was over to call if I need anything. I'm not the type to call ppl only when I want something.

My in laws don't give a single solitary shit about me. If my husband could produce babies without me, I'd be useless.

Honestly I don't hear from mil often, and we get along really well. My sil will call/text to check on the baby, and between her and my SO that's where mil gets her info. I'm sure if something was really wrong she would call me herself, luckily my first has never had any issues
