FTM, Considering getting the Tdap Vaccine....has anybody got this shot before?

I got it!

Im against it bc it contains mercury and that is a neuro toxin

my doctor requires it unless the mother has had a prior allergic reaction to it.

after my last two deliveries they recommended getting it done for baby's saftey but this pregnancy I guess they recommend getting it done while pregnant so baby can get a bit of the effect too is what I was told. so I got it done at 28 weeks.

my doctor said we will do it at my next appt and insurance covers it.

I got it right after I gave birth and my arm was just fine but I had an awesome nurse who knew how to give shots

@babyevan16, lucky you, yeah ask your doctor but my arm was sore ps. just so you know lol

@itzelafred3, my insurance will cover it, I made sure of that first thing lol, my doctor just brought it up for my next appointment...

99% of insurances cover it. And mine didn't hurt at all. Had a good friend lose a baby to whooping cough in the last year so I won't risk it.
