I have a few "friends" that were so excited for him to come and that they were always gunna see him and here we are, 7 weeks later and they still have yet to meet him. My bf and I live 45 minutes from his mom and she doesn't see him unless we go there...she refuses to come over because it's too far so it only makes perfect sense for us to get the baby ready and drive him over to her...needless to say, she hasn't seen him since he was 3 weeks old because I told my boyfriend I'm not taking him to her again until she stops being lazy and comes to us for once. She texted him asking us to come over and he said he doesn't wanna drive and told her to come here and she said no she'll just wait until we're out that way again. 😒 All I know is my son's gunna grow up knowing who was there and who wasnt.

Wow I can't believe she would be that lazy like that's her grandchild that's very sad but I respect your decision 100% I wouldn't take my child over there either you have to get your baby ready pack a bag drive 45 mins then drive all the way back and your baby is still very young the weather can get your child sick so easily it's sad she doesn't want to make more of an effort to see the baby but at least your boyfriend supports your decisions @scc2413

That's what I'm saying...like the entire pregnancy you said you were so excited and then you only show up when it's convenient for you. Like my mom's seen him at least twice a week since he was born because we love 45 minutes from her too but in the other direction from my bf's mom and she works and is back in school for her masters but still finds the time. His grandma is the same, she won't come over but can drive an hour from her to go to a different Walmart then the one by her house to see if they have a pots and pan set that she wants...when I heard that, I was like wtf is wrong with your family 😂 of course I didn't actually say that but man was I thinking it!
