mine did that at that age. Look up sleep regression. Happens about that age

My son just turned 6 months and I can't get him to nap unless we are on a walk or in the car. He's even started to cry when we are walking/driving like he's fighting sleep! I miss being able to get things done while he slept!

I know! I've been putting my son in his stroller inside and pushing back and forth and eventually he takes a long nap. My son needs his naps or is extra cranky!! @sev1226

Mine too! I don't know what to do! I keep telling myself we will go on walks/drives until he is old enough to understand the word "nap time" and I can just put him in his crib but who knows when that is!

Lol! I read bad things about the cry it out method so I guess I'm going to just have to do what it takes for naps until he can on his own! @sev1226

Oh I read lots of bad stuff too and my background is developmental psychology so I had such strong opinions but one day I was on the highway and my son started crying and then screaming and I just had to let him cry until I could get to him... That's when I realized letting him cry for 10 min won't do major psychological damage. I never let him go longer than that. I know some people who let their babies cry for half hour plus! That's no good. He's happy all day so hoping I'm not screwing him up too bad lol
