Only 3 weeks and there's already 50+ oz or breast milk in my freezer! Breast feeding has had its challenges but we're sticking to it! 😊
@carterclaytonb, I almost had to get donor milk when I had my daughter.. She was only 5 pounds at birth and went down to 4.5 because I wasn't producing enough milk. Thankfully after a week my milk started flowing
@missjuline, I'm stocking up for when I go back to work.
@missjuline, looking good! That's nice of you to think about donating. What a wonderful gift to give to another baby.
@lezette, some is better than none! My son doesn't nurse off both breasts at feedings yet so I'll pump one while he nurses on the other helps get more ounces because the natural let down reflex happens quicker and is more effective than pumping alone.
@bjeff, I was too. Haha. This is my second and I didn't prepare for going back to work very well with my first. so I was always stressing about my supply which made it go down. We made it to a year of breastfeeding and this time I'm gunning for two years. So we'll see. 🙃
I need to start pumping more often then. ☹️ I'm sad, because every time I pump, I only get like 3oz or 2.
I pump every time my baby takes a nap. And sometimes at night. Or when im riding in the car and he's asleep. (Basically whenever I can) Sometimes I only get 1-2 oz but others I get 4-5. (It adds up quicker than you'd think) Just depends. It's been hard and discouraging at times but just gotta stick to it. I had gotten mastitis about a week ago and that really motivated me to empty my breast as much as possible to avoid that situation again. @lezette
That's so awesome! I'm worried more about breastfeeding and pumping then I am of unmedicated labor and delivery.
How did you do that? Lmao that is a lot of milk!

This bruise randomly appeared on my breast today. Is that normal?
Government Assistance and Breast Pump
Is there any mommy's on here that used to be or is on Government Assistance? And knows if they cover breast pumps?
I'm not planning to breast feed but would you ladies recommend breast feeding for the first time or straight onto bottles? Everyone keeps telling me different and I need advice! 😓
Any mommies breast and bottle feed?
Because I have to be on mental health medication after birth I am unable to breastfeed😔 what are some good formulas for babies? I know breast is best but I can’t be on the medication I need and breast feed.
I'm glad that everything worked out well for you. I'm sure that some momma will be really happy to have your milk.
