I have a question mommies Is it too early to put a lil rice cereal in a 2 month old bottle??
Trust your instincts as a mother and just watch your baby if you see that you baby isn't taking well to it just stop it until you feel the time is right. Mothers intuition never fails
Everyone has different views on but just like everyone else said its up to you and what you think is best for your baby and yourself. Doesn't hurt to give it to try to see if it works well for your little one.☺️
Lol that's what I'm saying every baby is different some babies have no problem with it@soon2b2
Girl my baby was doing rice and green beans at that age lol
OK yeah I see alot of mommies have tried it and it worked for their babies. I know every baby is different but I just wanna see I wouldn't do no harm to my baby. That why I asked to see have any mommies done it before @jahnessagarcia
My mom suggested it to me as well because my daughter was constantly eating she had me put less then a teaspoon in there and it helped a lot
Its okay I appreciate your advice I know everybody have their own opinions on it@mygiftof2016
Personally I started putting rice in my sons bottle at 3 months and a week old. When he cries every two hours because he's hungry and had ate a 4-5oz bottle two hours ago, I had to do something because he was basically over eating. Once I started the rice he got into a much more regular eating schedule.
Yeah I know they say it best till they at least 4 months I'm just ask her doctor to be on the safe side @mommytoprinceaiden092915
My baby was eating ALLLLLLLL the time so I put a little cereal in her milk and now she can go 2-3 hours before her next feedings and it helped her sleep too cause she was waking up every two hours. I say go for it.
Yeah I figured if I do try it won't nun but 1 or 2 drops just to be safe @dani_cooperr94
y not I say... I wouldn't give a bunch but a little might help... worst can happen u gotta wait a bit longer I guess i dont really know hunny
Okay she bout to be 3 months on the 15. I was just seeing if putting a lil in her bottle would hurt her or not@taylor.rodriguez
Their digestive system isn't completely developed yet and it can cause digestion issues that early that's the only reason they say not to
I can't remember exactly how much, just because now when I make bottles I do it by the eye, but I think for every 4pz of formula you can have up to 2oz of rice. For a 2 month old baby, I would agree to only do a small amount. Probably no more than an oz. at least until she gets used to it.
I started mixing it in my babies formula since 2 months old.
My baby 2 months but will be 3 months on the 15. Yeah I heard it's really up to u if u choose to but I'm just try a few drops in her bottle to see if she like it or not@mygiftof2016
Yes, baby shouldn't be given anything other than milk until at least 4 months
Thats how my baby is she ain't hardly full anymore like she use to be. My MIL said it's ok to just put a few drops as long as u not putting too much in it@dani_cooperr94
I did at 3 months but every baby is different I'm not sure what ages you can start doing what at....I'm rusty my last baby was 7 years ago so this is like having my first all over again!
Honestly, it's whenever YOU feel like it's time. Everyone is going to have different opinions. And some people may make you feel like a horrible mother for putting rice in baby's bottles. I did it, not because I wanted my son to sleep though the night since he did that at a month old, but because he got to a point where formula wouldn't keep him full for more than a couple of hours.
yes it's too early. any kind of food should be avoided until at least 6 months because it can cause open guy syndrome
