with my first i had contractions 16 days straight before water broke and i began hard labor

It was my first too @ashley145 they said there was no guarantee I would be in labor but they said to come get checked out and be monitored for a couple hours. I checked in at 7:30 am and had her at 12:56 pm...just a little over 5 hours later.....and my contractions were just at the 10 mins apart. I progressed really quickly though...I went from a 4 to a 7 in 20 mins! it's really hard to know for sure but just make sure to keep an eye on things and I would say if the contractions stay consistent all night you should call in the morning and just inform them or if they get stronger.

Idk how far apart mine were with my first one, but I went to the er to be checked and l&d admitted me because my watering was leaking. I thought it was just pee. 22 hours later he was born. I'd been leaking and having contractions from the 3rd of July and he was born the 9th

@chelz_renae, they told me since it was my first to wait until 3 to 5 minutes

Mine were 10 mins apart, I called my doctor, he said come get checked out, I ended up having her a few hours later.....however everyone and baby is different. @ashley145
