Yeah that's true @holliesinead I was just speaking on my past experience others have totally different experiences

It was the small old style ones. She moves a lot in her sleep and kept getting moody in the Moses basket which was part of the reason I moved her into her cot

I only got ours done yesterday and I'm 35 weeks they will go in cot when I think they're ready I think all this 'you should do this I until their this age' is ridiculous I think every child is different and every parent has different ways of doing things xx

I wasn't going to have a Moses basket but I used the one from when I was a baby. My daughter was out of it in a month anyway

Oh ok ok @ssumner I'm not judgemental on it I did do it with my first but I realised I made it harder for my self because my cot went to waist because he wouldn't sleep in it

@barnold, awwwe your like me if I had my cot at that point I probably would of had it up 😂😂😂 but I got it today 😷

My daughters cot is next to my bed but so she can't see me if you get what I mean. I live at home with my mum so she doesn't have her own room but she stayed in my room on her own last night and didn't no the difference X

No not at all, its recommended that you have baby close to you for the first 6 months. Plus we don't have the room for a cot in our bedroom anyway

@abiruth, I was gonna get a moses basket but my mw said that their really a waste of money as baby will out grown after a couple weeks.. at first that was my plan to put basket in cot but she said it's fine and baby will get used to the comfort of the cot.

aww ok ok I'm planning on getting mine put up but just wondering when people put them up @abiruth @ssumner but don't u think it will mess up babies comfort if u understand meaning they'll be too comfortable and be so used to sleeping next to u that it's gonna be hard for them in the long run. my plan is to put to cot in my room for the first 6 months but not so close to my bed as I don't want baby not being able to sleep by him self

mines been up for about 6 weeks 😂 and I'm only 27 weeks gone.. I'm far too impatient and want as much done while I have energy too xx

I put mine up at 30 weeks, but my daughters Moses basket sat in it at night as we didn't have a stand for it x

Not for a while yet, not even chosen or bought one. Won't need it straight away anyway as baby will be in with us for first 6 months minimum
