@mygiftof2016, from my understanding it the lining of your cervix. When it starts to thin it's called being effaced. So where I'm 100% effaced and that lining is super thin, it means my water can break at any time. But just like everything else in pregnancy, it's a waiting game.

What does effaced mean...anything to do with baby dropping im confused to all these terms
