tell your insurance ppl they will definitely rush it. same thing happened to me at the beginning of my pregnancy got it back on on literally 4 days

@aldensmommy, I have Husky A and they are fantastic I went through access health and they pushed my insurance up I got it within a week

Even if you go in to have the baby before the insurance kicks in they should rebill it to the insurance when it takes effect. I've had to do that before. @aldensmommy

I hope so the biller from my ob was freaking me out with all the numbers that I would have to pay I was like I don't work how am I suppose to pay all of that might as well have the baby at home lol @britt16

Most places will rebill it for sure. I always freaked out when they would tell me what I had to pay when my insurance wasn't in effect yet. Lol. @aldensmommy

im right there with you i been having to pay because my boyfriend is stupid and keeps printing out the PAYSTUB i ALREADY HAVE & they wont process my medicade till he gives them the one they need smh i feel like im the only one with a brain

@happymomma2211xox, I'm from CT too, NY is completely different ... @aldensmommy sorry you're going through this, you have to call DSS and do the application for Medicaid ASAP- see if you can do it over the phone because they can rush it. Try not to stress, because it's not good for you or baby and also because they have to give you what's considered "emergency" Medicaid and has to be mandatory given to pregnant women. Even if you get a bill now, you can go back and have Medicaid cover things for up to three months back.

call your Medicare office and say you need to apply and that your pregnant. they should give you emergency insurance so you can be seen.
