Can I request to have a c section? I'm scared to do it naturally. Also what do you think is better, like less painful and faster recovery? TIA

Natural natural natural. I had my daughter natural on Thursday and I literally feel normal other than being excessively tired 😂 i was in labor for 36 hours and was practically begging for a c section but I am SO glad they told me no. I literally felt nothing but pressure when I was pushing. I was making jokes the entire time I was pushing lol

C section has to be medically necessary usually. I almost had to have one with this pregnancy because of placenta previa, so I have been preparing for it. But I just found out almost 2 weeks ago that I will have my baby naturally, it's better for you both in he long run.
Honestly I've never had a v birth but I wish I could. I am having my second c section August 24th but if I had it my way I could do it naturally. With c section it's so painful and the recovery is slow. I hate it but I have to have it bc I'm 4ft 9in tall and cervix is small.
vaginal is quicker to heal from... c-section is very very painful once meds wear off, I swear when I woke up from my emergency c-section I was still being ripped open.... most docotrs won't do one unless it's medically necessary
you'll heal faster with natural birth and the pain is not that bad if you get a spinal tap and the person is excellent at what they do you'll be pushing with a smile. at least i did.
I personally prefer c section I've had both experience. But if you aren't used to physical pain then go for natural. Keep in mind though that not every hospital opts in for vbac if you decide to try natural birth in another pregnancy.
