When does your midwife start to do internal checks to see if you're dilated? Is it only if you go over? jw cus I have a final midwife app tomoro (then I see a doctor) when I'll be 38+6 and don't know what to expect for it

no joy at the midwife today he's still not fully engaged and he's likely to be late 🙁 back on Monday to see the midwife, the OH is disappointed too 😐 but still anything can happen! positive thinking! 😀 8 days til due date 🤰👶 and for the record if I hear "baby will come when he's ready" I'm going to lose my shit! I know he'll come when he's ready but that doesn't make it any easier! 😩😐
which is better an ob or midwife I heard midwifes are more expensive

Only when you are in labour or over due :) They don't tend to do sweeps until 41 weeks hun. You could ask :) x

No idea! my midwife said she would do one on my due date but our appointment was in the library and not private so I had to book it in a few days later somewhere else

@winterbaby95, Awk im not worried about getting a sweep or anything just wondering if they can tell I've started to dilate or anything, I'm not experiencing much discomfort or anything thankfully so she can cook away for as long as she needs lol!xxx
