When I had my son 7 years ago hospitals supplied milk, my hospital no longer does this, anyone know how I can get round this if I have to stay in?im going to be bottle feeding but apparently there isn't anywhere to sterilise bottles either? Do they make disposable ones suitable for newborns? Xx
It's illegal to not have a milk prep room they will have one somewhere , but aptamil do pre bottle sterilised packs xx
Every where sells the pre made milk bottles now. In different makes to, sma, aptamil, cow and gate and so on. You get 6 bottles in a box. They are the ones the hospitals originally supplied or so my health visitor told me. About £8 per box (: I have 2 for my hospital bag just incase xx
You can buy packs of milk that come in ready made bottles to give straight to baby. That's what im@going to take. All the main brands do it then you've got no worries about sterilising bottles etc.x
You can buy pre made milk and teats that are sterile to attach to those bottles. I am taking some sterile bottles in with me along with pre made milk xx
Yeah boots and I think supermarkets sell the ready made bottles that the hospitals supply. you can also buy sterile disposable bottles but I don't know if hospital will provide you with boiled water ?
I took three packs of what @ssumner posted hun but only used two as I went home ealry only stayed in two days after my section and I mixed fed Xxx
