I have my glucose test in the morning at 11:00. It's been so long since I've had one and 4 weeks since my last appointment. I can't remember if I should avoid eating after 12 or avoid just certain foods :/ I could just look it up but why not ask you beautiful ladies first!

or if you're really needing to eat just eat something with no sugar and no carbs, or low carbs.
you can. I know doctors all have different ways of doing things so they may say something else. it wouldn't hurt to try!
@graciesmama, @klarrissab do u guys think it would be a bad idea to call the dr on call and ask...... I don't know what else to do
I had had to fast for mine I wasn't allowed to eat after midnight @brittanylove
I had to take both tests because I failed the first one? I passed the second one. and no I haven't. @klarrissab

Guess it just depends on dr office with all the different answers.... Guess I won't be eating just to be safe :(
i was told to not eat 2-4 hours before my test thats why i did it super early in the morning at like 9 but after i drank my drink i got super shaky cause my blood sugar went sky high then dropped and i was super sleepy while they took my blood u have to wait an hour before they take ur blood. lol. its better to be safe then sorry so u dont have to take the 3 hour one
Lol that's how I felt, good luck! I brought food with me so I could eat on my way out haha.

Lol! I know it may be necessary and if so I will fast of course! But MANNNNN I so love food especially right now! Lol! I for real get really nauseous and dizzy when I get hungry now lol! I'm such a fatty!

I didn't eat for 12, but ate right before the 12 hour mark and I had to go do the three hour one cause I failed the first. but passed the 3 hour. if you do eat, no sugars or carbs.
Is it a one hour test? Or 3 hour? One hour you don't have to fast.
yess mam. just to be safe!! so you dont have to take a 3 hr test for no reason they told my mom (10 yrs ago with my sister) she could eat and did and failed and had to go on a saturday morning and stay there for 3-4 hours
yeah it wasn't that bad though. I ate right after ! I was asleep for most of the 8-12 hours.
i wouldn't eat for the rest of the night or atleast 4 hours before your appointment. i had mine at 9am she said dont eat past 7am.
I wasn't aloud to eat anything for 8-13 hours before my test.. I was only allowed water
Yeah just call and ask to be sure. I was given a form to give to the place where I took my test and it said on there.
