I don't even have a mom to be there for me she passed away a week before I got pregnant so let her enjoy the moment and be lucky that you still have her there for you. that's a real petty thing to complain about because once she's gone you'll regret even thinking that way @caddiebugg

@caddiebugg, I told her she could be in the room but I told her I don't want her all down there in my junk, you know? Lol I kind of don't want her in there just for the simple that she's a bit controlling and will be trying to tell me what's going on, what to do, coaching me and crap and I honestly don't need that. That's what the nurses and doctors are there for. But I also feel bad because it is her first grandchild and she's just as excited as me so I don't want to deny her that privilege either. Like @littlemancomingsoon516 said you do only get one mother and you may just regret that she wasn't there for certain special moments I'm yours or your babies life. :)

I live halfway across the country from my mom, and I know she means well, but she is really needing to back off. she refuses to buy her plane ticket for 1 week after my due date, because she thinks my baby is going to come early, and she thinks she needs to be here in his first week. I just had my last baby shower yesterday, and she is already bugging me about sending her a list of what else we need... we haven't even gotten to spend any gift cards yet, we don't need her help, so I would essentially be sending her my shopping list... I find that SO weird, like ok mom, here is the list of stuff I'm buying next weekend...

I am close to my mom and love how involved she is and just as excited, it's her first grandbaby. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her (obviously) I would Die if she wasn't in my life. My fiancé and mother will be in the roo. when it's time. Not all females have that kind of bond with their mother, I guess.
