Once I am physically healed and I get the "all-clear" from my OB, I'm going to start exercising. This postpartum depression is hitting me hard, and it's not only affecting me, but my relationship with others. I hate feeling this way and I hate asking myself why I feel like this every day. I am trying not to resort to meds.. I can't talk to many people about it because they simply don't understand. They feel that I have no reason to be sad. But that has nothing to do with it, it's just a deep feeling that creeps up randomly. I'm looking forward to a better me, so I can finally bond with my little family in the way that I was meant to.

Try breathing exercises for now. Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds. Its how I fight of my anxiety attacks and calm down. Try to clear your head and just focus on the count and the sound of the air in your chest. I know the creeping feeling you're talking about, just like sinking into cold water and dread. Try going outside, get some sun, and try to smile or laugh. Even if its fake it actually cheers you up. If you ever need to talk, shoot me a message. Stay strong mama. :)
