So my coworker was telling me how her daughter in law risked their first baby's life by not wanting to get a damn c-section because her mother told her not to because she would have a ugly scar on her belly for the rest of her life. She didn't go to the hospital, did a home birth with a doula. No doctor or midwife present. her and the baby ended up having infections from the procedure because they had to pull the baby out instead of a c-section all because she refused since her mother who hasn't had a child in 30 years, who is stuck in the damn 1920's, told her not to. She is due with another baby the end of this month and wants to have him the same way! I just think the shit is nuts! that first baby was under so much risk and barely made it because you didn't want a damn scar and you want to chance it on this one too!? I don't care if they tell me that we have to cut Cailin out, especially if it poses risk to do it naturally. Hell let's go. The only question I'm gonna ask is are the meds gonna be in my iv or in a shot.
