There's no known risks to taking zofran while pregnant. That's why it's prescribed so much because the birth defects aren't common and most likely aren't caused by the medication
I think this is what my Dr tried giving me. I refused all meds except Progesterone. I only take it because I'd miscarry without it. Everything comes with risks.
I think anything that's a drug, prescribed or not is a risk while being pregnant or not... Obviously it's not natural but sometimes when really needed we don't have a choice, you weigh out your options...My high risk dr prescribed 17 p shot and my regular dr said he rather I wouldn't for baby's sake... This shot has been used for about 30 years for high risk pregnancy but you just never know the outcome, we're all different...
I was prescribed this by my high risk pregnancy doctor because I could not stop throwing up and was losing too much weight. I agree that there are risks, but there's higher risks when you don't do anything either. My babe are perfectly fine. There's no corresponding link that proves that Zofran is the cause of the specific birth defects outlined in the lawsuit...and it will take many, many years for them them to prove it. For my twin pregnancy I needed this to even drink a glass of water. I took it for 3 weeks until my body was able to relax and take food and then slowly weened myself off

My doctor told me to take it during my 2-3 trimester. I took a off brand , after taking it my baby moved to much . So scary 😖

@cstrauser, NVR had to take it and clearly it is risk but I'm just sharing what I seen doesn't Matter to me

I don't trust ANY pharmaceutical! especially while preggo. I'm having to take thyroid meds but it's necessary for the baby to be healthy my OB says.
