How soon will they let me go home after getting my wound vac put in???

Idkk about any of that.. They did mention a house nurse coming out . What's the picc line?

@lynnx1800, All they do is put this activated charcoal that looks like a black sponge in the wound bed with a vacuum hose with negative pressure. they lie it over with tegaderm (looks like clear thin tape) Are you going to have visiting nurses come to your home to change it or you have to go get it changed at a wound clinic? Should be able to go home quickly.. Depending on how severe your infection is.. Do you have a PICC line?
