Feeding question: I have been feeding my baby exclusively breastmilk since birth (5 weeks) - all pumped and bottle fed. My pediatrician is having me do a trial of formula only with my LO due to some tummy issues. He was taking 4 oz of bottle fed breast milk every 3-4 hours but he doesn't seem to want more than 2.5 to 3 oz of formula every 3-4 hours. Is this normal or is it a sign he doesn't like this formula?

I was told formula is more filling than breast milk so I would assume that's why :)

@supermom1104, we burp. It takes him 45 min to drink it. He just loses interest in it. He never drank the bm very fast but always drank it all.

if he's drinking any of it then he should be fine, might just be full, try burping in between ounces might help
