I saw this cool thing at target that's called a bed sharing bassinet! It goes in between you and your partner or just beside you in bed so they're in bed with you but still In their own space. I thought the concept was kinda cool! I'm a FTM so I don't have experience with it personally though
@mommacee2be, we slept with her for months in between us and I did what you did as well I'd sleep with her on my chest but in the middle of the bed with pillows on the side of me
@mommyagain, I have no issue with co-sleeping/bed sharing. I just want to do or the best way I can. We are going on week 2 and I want to reduce all the risk I can. He's been sleeping on my chest. :/
Nothing wrong with co sleeping my daughter is 14 months and she NEVER really slept in her own bed she's just now learning thank goodness because the new baby will need her spot.
Iv cosleept for about 10 months, your mother instincts are always there so even well your asleep your aware of baby. Also always put pillows or something so bubs doesnt fall off the bed (:
If you don't want baby in bed with you you can buy little beds that go in your bed. I had one for my daughter until she grew out of that then I allowed her to sleep next to me. Always between me and hubby and blankets no higher that under her arms. Pillows a good distance from the face.
