I'm nearly 3 weeks into breastfeeding my newborn and I'm starting to have a really hard time with it... mainly emotionally. I feel like she's not getting enough to satisfy herself so she's constantly wanting to feed and I'm emotionally worn down and exhausted from it... my husband sees that I'm really having a difficult time and I hate to say it but I'm really starting to dislike it. I know it's the best thing for her... I don't know what to do. my husband keeps telling me to quit but my mom keeps pressuring me to stick with it. I'm not struggling with postpartum but I feel like that's what it's leading to...
Does she use a pacifier? she could be getting enough just using your boob as confort. cluster feeding can be it too but it can go on for months, doesn't necessarily have to be during a growth spurt.
It's normal to feel overwhelmed. Keep letting baby nurse as often as needed. That will help with milk supply. Just relax when you nurse your baby. It gets easier momma! You can do it!
They cluster feed when they're about to have a growth spurt. I think that's the term used anyways. It's been almost five years since I breastfed.
Babies eat a lot so I'm sure the little one is getting enough and girl don't be hard on yourself I didn't even last that long it hurt to much I had to stop and formula feed
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I actually just spoke with a lactation consultant since I'm stuck in the hospital & she said it was completely normal for babies to want to breast feed all the time. It doesn't mean you're not producing enough milk. Completely okay! But if you're feeling that way, then do what's best for yourself & the baby. Fed is best, no matter how! Good luck ☺️
