I'm really starting to get upset here. My son was born a little over a week ago.. My boyfriend's mom (the baby's grandma) is always constantly making me feel bad about the parenting choices I make. Like "Its too cold for him to wear that outfit" "You shouldn't eat that while breastfeeding" "Don't let him focus on the ceiling fan, he will become autistic" "You need to be putting more lotion on him, his skin is too dry." I'm already battling postpartum depression, and when people are making me feel like I'm doing a bad job with parenting, it makes me feel worse. I love my son more than anything, but my emotions are too strong. I have to try all that I can not to bawl my eyes out every day.

Girl put you foot down and you will do what you think is best for you little one if that was me I would not hold my tongue I would ugly or rude but j would definitely say how I feel about it. @rayniem

Tell her to shut up. Sorry but I think it may be a cultural thing...older women from MA seem to think they know everything - I can say that, because I'm from there lol- and you have to put your foot down and tell it like it is, no sugar coating anything. i.e. I got this, lady. Let me be a mom, take your seat and shut up.

it's just very frustrating because I'm emotionally drained and I don't want to end up saying the wrong thing. I just don't know how much more I can take @maybabyboy @michelleaaliyah @sarahemccormick
