It's not for everyone. I do encourage people to at least try. My sister and I always say, when there was no formula or people were really poor years back, there was no choice. Advances in technology have made many people opt out of what nature has provided us with.

Because I know the first couple of days can be hard because I may not produce enough milk my nipples will be soar they might bleed & when I leave my child with my bf he will be bottle feeding so I don't want my child to have nipple confusion @mrscruz0530

If you get the help of a lactation consultant right after birth, she will show you how to avoid nipple soreness and bleeding. I've never had bleeding with 3 babies. Childbirth is painful and scsry but people still get pregnant. The first few days you don't produce milk, it's just colostrum. The baby's belly is the size of about a cherry and it's nearly impossible to starve your baby unless you have zero supply. Be confident in yourself mama. Our bodies were made to do this, just as they were made to give life. We are so powerful!

If you're concerned with the pain, lanolin cream works and I use a nipple shield too. the first 2 weeks were super hard but we're 6 weeks in and it's not hurting at all and it's not as hard anymore. I wanted to give up so many but I didnt.

Just to let you know, it doesn't hurt everyone...I never had any pain or bleeding of my nipples, women on this app vent their frustrations so don't only go by that, plenty of us had no problems at all

I would give it a try at least yes it's hard at first but it does get easier and there's bottles that are good for breastfed babies for an easy transition back and forth for when your bf has the baby you can even just pump and give it to the baby through bottles but no judgement if you choose not to I'm two months strong and I love it . for the first few days they only need colostrum and during those days you can have a lactation consultant to help you the main reason for pain is because the baby isn't latching on right so keep that in mind too my baby didn't latch right at first and yes my left side bled a bit so I pumped on that side until it healed but we fixed her latch and I was fine were here to help and give advice if you need it :)
