I don't disagree with you. I took it to mean more of I can be here for them but they have to do the hard part. @jadestarlight but really I suppose it's gonna be different per person.
I don't think a cry for help is asking for pity. I don't care for people call it a cry for attention. yes they need help and they may need help again and again. in my experiences with suicide often times the person has been ignored emotionally or never felt heard. to me a cry for help is showing strength. it's not an easy thing to admit. they need more then to be handed a stick they need you to pick up one and fight with them. my personal take on suicide.
I understand. I guess dealing with suicide ideation myself idk. i didnt find the overall message bad. its a subject sensitive to me knowing what it feels like to lose someone to suicide and to be suicidal.
