I believe there's nothing wrong with co-sleeping til about 3-5 years of age. Your child will show signs of wanting independence when they're personally ready.

@chasinghappiness, Aww dear, well I suggest you try to make it fun in some way, or just do the transition really slowly. Often kids will refuse things when they feel rushed into it and like there's no point in it since its not any fun! I hope that helps! Hugs and love 💕
