I wouldn't take it. Just try Tylenol extra strength.

I agree with @alexislopez . Hold off on it until you consult your doctor. But I know Tylenol is an okayed medicine!

@bishop0301, my obgyn said it would be okay to take half of one.. and then the on call doctor said to take a whole one then take another if it still doesn't work, that seemed sketchy to me.. but I just want to be sure..

@lilbabyboy16, I would go with what your OB said since they see you and are actually in charge of monitoring your pregnancy. If they say it's okay then it's okay. The on call doctor are more for in general questions but depending on your pregnancy you may not be able to take certain medicines. You should be okay though!

@bishop0301, I'm just scared of it messing up my baby. I haven't taken any medications my whole pregnancy except two nights ago before I left the hospital to get a morphine shot because the slightest movement hurt like heck

@lilbabyboy16, your ob would never let you take something that can hurt your baby! I know it's scary especially being a first time mom, but we have to trust our doctors! You're baby will be okay. And if something happens with your baby that concerns you talk to your doctor! They won't misinform you! I wish you a healthy pregnancy! It's gonna be okay girl! 😁

@bishop0301, that's the thing. they offered me Zofran when I had a uti the beginning of my pregnancy I didn't take it and then found out it gives your baby birth defects

@lilbabyboy16, oh wow that's tough. Then just go with good on momma instinct! What was your pain for again? Either way Tylenol is okay to take if you need pain meds. Anything that you think you might need a stronger dosage for, I'd go the the Urgent Care

I had those back pains too. I tried laying down but they kept persisting. So I took a warm bath (make sure it's not too hot) took some Tylenol afterwards and laid down on a heat pad. It takes a few minutes to kick in but it really helped me. I haven had a back pain like that since I was about 22 weeks. I'm 28 weeks now

@bishop0301, oh okay. I've been wanting to take a warm bath but I'm scared I won't be able to get out haha. I will definitely keep that in mind though
