I'm new here. My name is Skyler. How do you tell the difference between Braxton Hicks and labor?

braxton hicks are supposed to start at the top of your belly, labor generally starts in your back or lower belly like period cramps. from what I have read anyways. also, braxton hicks are supposed to fade if you put your feet up and drink some water, while real contractions it won't matter what position you're in they will just hurt.

my Braxton hicks hurt if ur having them 3 to 5 mins apart go in if not ur fine :)

I've had some somewhat painful contractions but nothing I cant handle...I am 29 weeks tomorrow

BH are supposed to be painless. At least that's what I've heard. Regular contractions would be more consistent, painful. Call L&D if you're concerned.
