Okayy moms , so how does some of you feel about the crib bumpers ? I used them on my sons crib back then & he slept fine . & I keep reading that they suggest not using them cuz of the higher risk of SIDS. It scares me but also I personally like the bumpers so I'm a little undecided if I wanna use one for when we get Aidens crib set .
anyone else not using bumpers? i have some but i have yet to wash them and put them on the crib i really am considering just not.
Anyone else use these? I absolutely love them! I was afraid of the blanket unwrapping in his crib, now I don't have worry about that! :)

How do you guys feel about bumper pads in cribs? Yay or nay? My mother in law bought us the whole crib set I wanted and now I feel like I want to take back the bumper set which came separately after reading about them being a hazard.
I need help ladies... I don't feel my sons crib is safe anymore... he's moving a lot... he's pulling bumpers, sticking his legs and feet over the bumpers and through the bars(he would do that bumper or no bumper so i don't want to hear how they're unsafe) ... rolling a lot and on his tummy a lot... but I don't want him sleeping with me every night...

they have mesh bumbers that are different color and they are breathable too

I used them in my sons and will in my daughters, no one knows what causes SIDS and there is a difference between that and suffocation... you can always get the breathable ones if it makes you more comfortable

I was scared to use them with my first son, but he kept getting his feet caught in between the wood bars and waking up, and I was afraid he would break a leg or a foot or and ankle. so I went ahead and got a bumper and he did fine. but I did check on him ever time I woke up which was like every 2 hrs or so. lol. I may try the mesh on this time just to ease my mind and not feel like I have to check him constantly, maybe it's just a mother's instinct though to check on our little ones so damn often. lol

I'm getting the mesh one for our son! it's a suffocation hazard and even my mom who's had 5 kids and used bumpers for all of us agrees it's a better option to use the mesh :)

I'm getting them so my baby won't get his legs and feet stuck in the bars, but I'm not putting them on till he starts moving around and turning over
