@valrocks, I read that also which is sad because any type of social class does drugs. Look at celebrities half of them do drugs but as long as your clean before the baby comes she should be good

@lovingmommykeishla25, it only stays in your system for about 30 days. So after about a month it's gone. I guess my concern is more because I'm on Medicaid. They check for sure when you're on Medicaid.

it shouldnt show up on there. i think they only test if they are suspicious.

I read that here in FL they only drug test your baby if there is suspension or if the baby is having withdraws. If you were to come out positive you will be under investigation by CPS but once they investigate the home and other things like that they will close your case. Weed here in FL is really not a big deal what they really look for is babies born with an addiction to prescription pills. That is what I have read. I researched it since I was always a heavy smoker and really no matter how long I'm off weed I'm never really clean. Also I read this information from a nurse who use to work in a woman's hospital but good luck you will probably be okay.

Yes they test the baby. Start drinking lots of water. And hope you don't go in to labor too soon. The longer they stay in the better. I'm a long time heavy duty smoker. I quit when I found out and have been really good about it. Hubby still smokes and I make him blow it at me and just enjoy it from there.

I don't smoke but I do know that they drug test you during several of your prenatal appointments and when the baby comes (you and the baby).

Yes, they will test babies blood when born, and if it's positive you can get her taken away, CPS will get involved 😏 happened to my sister @nicoleefco
