Does breastfeeding hurt?

It does at first but then once baby gets their latch correct it doesn't hurt anymore

@maybaby2016, yes my nipples were sore that's the part that hurts when I was breast feeding

it shouldn't hurt actually, that is a sign of improper latching. The act of breastfeeding itself should not be painful however, your nipples can become a little sore until they get used to it. mine were sore for about two weeks but it really wasn't bad at all, something I could definitely tolerate.

it can hurt but once you get the hang of it its not bad
