It's my first night home with my newborn and I swear he's breathing different and every little noise is scaring me. Can anyone give me a piece of mind? Maybe I'm just going crazy.

I would wake up to every noise my daughter made for the first about 3 weeks. Now it's gotten easier for me. I'm able to leave her in the room and watch TV in the living room and feel ok. @jordangirl0415

@babynessa, I'm laying in bed staring at mine in a rock n play right now. We've been home since Monday. Watching him hasn't gotten easier. I hear him breathe weird and I'm like omg my baby is congested and is getting sick, and then he breathes fine. This is definitely not easy!!!!!

I still wake up and make sure her face is still up and it's been over a week I've had her home. I feel you!

Lol yes! I was like that the first couple of nights. It's just you being a mom. Your baby is okay. Babies just breathe a little faster and sometimes they hold their breaths for some reason lol. It's totally normal.

Yeah that was me the first night. What me and my husband ended up doing is taking shifts because I was so afraid to leave our daughter alone. Hope you get some rest. @carlieshep

@babynessa, yes I have him in a rock n play right next to our bed! I'm exhausted but so afraid to go to sleep

I was the same way. I actually moved my baby's crib next to our bed and stared at my baby the entire night. It's just a phase you go through. Your baby is most likely just fine and it's just you being a mommy.
