@sandycheeks, that's why I feel robbed of the experience. Giving birth to my son (my first) was absolutely incredible. You immediately forget all the pain and immediately get to hold your baby. It's the complete opposite of the experience of a c-section. I'm just determined to have my husband experience it. Right now he doesn't understand the difference or understand why I'm making a huge deal about it, but if we successfully deliver vaginally then he will. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
I have 2 boys (: @brittbilson and yes I wish I got to hold and see them but unfortunately only got a glimpse and then didn't get to see baby until after I got out recovery and into a room=( which was like 3 hours after birth
My Doctor is willing to let me try a TOLAC, as long as I go into labor naturally and I progress through labor naturally. She said that they would give me an epidural soon after arriving at the hospital because it makes success that much more likely and if they end up having to do a c-section then the epidural line is already in. Some doctors won't even risk it, but she is absolutely amazing and knows how important it is to me. So as long as I don't need Pitocin or anything to help me progress then she is confident I could successfully VBAC. I searched high and low on the web for stories of ladies who have gone through it after two c-sections, but it's hard to find anything. I would just like to go into it having confidence because of other woman's success stories. You know? My doctor gave me a lot of info about TOLAC and VBAC, but I would love some personal experience stories. I know you have a better chance for success if you've given birth vaginally at least once before and I have, my first was an amazing easy vaginal delivery (obviously labor up until the epidural was very hard and some of the worst pain I've ever felt.. Until my labor with my second where she got stuck.. THAT is the worst pain I have ever been in) and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had. It was my second who was face up and she got stuck, my OB at the time said he didn't want to chance another vaginal delivery after what happened with her.. So my third was a planned//scheduled c-section. My husband has never experienced a vaginal delivery and this is our last baby, so I am determined. Plus I feel kind of jipped when I get c-sections. Do you guys feel the same way? Like when you deliver vaginally your SO cuts the cord (or in my case you did it, I didn't have a SO), they wipe the baby down, weigh//measure, diaper//beanie, and then they immediately bring the baby to you for skin on skin time so they leave you alone while you and your SO obsess over your beautiful brand new baby. C-sections are completely different. Am I crazy or the only one who feels that way about c-sections?
@sandycheeks how many littles do you have? :)
@skyryder what happened that you didn't even get close to vaginal births?
I was wondering the same, both my two kids were c section I'm now trying for our third I'm dreading yet another c-section but I've not even come close either time to vag births so I too was wondering if pos🤔😊 or if others had actually went thru the process
@sandycheeks, it's Trial Of Labor After Cesarean. So basically trying to have a vaginal birth after having a c-section. I've had two c-sections and I just want to know if there's anyone on here who have had a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) after two c-sections. Or if they tried and failed. I just want some input. :)
